Computing Accreditation Workshops

An accreditation workshop for computing (CS, IS, IT, and general computing) faculty and administrators is offered annually. Attendees learn the ins and outs of preparing for a Computing Accreditation Commission visit, including

  • the purpose and content of the self-study,
  • the benefit of an ABET readiness review,
  • best practices in display materials,
  • interpretation of the criteria and terminology,
  • and visit-scheduling logistics.

The workshop is led by experienced ABET visit team chairs and CAC leadership and will be facilitated in 2014 by the CSAB President, Vice President, and Past President.

New low fee: Just $100, including continental breakfast, lunch, and materials.
