Scott Murray Named ABET Fellow in 2026

Scott Murray received the Fellow of ABET Award, which will be presented in October 2026 for sustained leadership in advancing computing accreditation, harmonizing data science criteria across commissions, expanding accreditation to new degree levels, and integrating industry practices to strengthen ABET’s global impact.  Murray is a Senior Data Engineering Director at Procore, a SaaS developer of software for the construction industry, and an adjunct instructor at Kennesaw State University.  Of note, he most recently chaired the committee which established the new Data Science program criteria used in both the CAC and ANSAC commissions.  Murray also was the CAC Chair for the 2024-25 accreditation cycle.
