After more than a year of public review and comment, new CAC/ABET general criteria for accrediting masters level programs, and also new CAC/ABET program criteria for accrediting associates level information technology (IT) programs are expected to get final approval from the ABET Computing Area Delegation for implementation beginning with the 2025-26 cycle of reviews. See here for full text of the masters level general criteria, and here for the full text of the associates level IT program criteria.

The CAC now has general criteria for each of associates, baccalaureate, and masters level programs.  And the CAC has program criteria at the associates level for cybersecurity and for information technology.
