One new Fellow of CSAB Award was presented at the annual Computing Accreditation Commission (CAC) of ABET meeting in July. The award went to Chris Taylor for contributions to CSAB within the EAC including representation on the EAC ExCom, training lead for software engineering, and service as CSAB’s liaison to the IEEE Committee on Engineering Accreditation (CEAA).
In addition to the CSAB Fellow award, three people were presented with CSAB Outstanding Contribution Awards.
Mihaela Sabin … Outstanding Contribution Award: For exceptional contributions as CSAB co-chair of the joint CSAB/CAC criteria committee, including organization and coordination of the many subcommittees.
Sandra Gorka … Outstanding Contribution Award: For exceptional contributions as long-time CSAB secretary and treasurer and for additional significant contributions to the CAC training efforts.
David Hunter … Outstanding Contribution Award: For service in helping ensure a smooth integration of ASA into CSAB, representing ASA on the CSAB Board, and representing CSAB within the Applied and Natural Sciences Area Delegation and Board of Delegates.
