CSAB and computer science have lost a pioneer. Anne-Louise Radimsky was a long-time CSAB volunteer and a sitting ABET Computing Accreditation Commissioner at the time of her passing in June. Originally from France, Anne-Louise was one of the first female Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Ph.D.’s from Berkeley, and the first female faculty member in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department at UC Davis. These were just a few of her many accomplishments. She was an active member of both ACM and the IEEE Computer Society. There will be a tribute posted on ABET’s website soon. Anne-Louise will be missed dearly.
